Psychotherapy is a deep dive

into your psyche and your inner world. It is an exploration that translates into better relationships, internal peace and a healthy internal space where we live. Therapy empowers you with self-awareness...

How does it
work?

In the initial phase of therapy, the focus is on knowing who you are. Life experiences build our perceptions and internal world, thus taking up much space and holding great importance in therapy.

Our Therapeutic
Approach:

At La Esperanza, we believe there is no single path to healing that works for everyone. Each person’s story is unique, and so is the way we support them. Our therapists draw from a range of evidence based and insight oriented methods, tailoring each session to your needs, goals, and pace.

Couple and Family Therapy

A troubled relationship or family can be one of the biggest disturbances in one's life. La Esperanza is a space that understands couples and their needs. Couple therapy aims to help resolve conflicts and establish healthy relationships. Couples will learn to communicate their needs effectively and also emotionally feel more connected to one another.

How does it
work?

The first few sessions are when the couple steps in together. This helps the therapist identify the dysfunction of the relationship, as well as the communication styles and love languages.

Supervision for Therapists

Supervision is a joint endeavour in which a practitioner, with the help of a supervisor, attends to their clients, themselves as part of their client practitioner relationships and the wider systemic context, and by so doing, improves the quality of their work, transform their client relationships, continuously develops themselves, their practice and the wider profession

At La Esperanza, we have individual and group supervision, each comprising 4 to 5 practitioners

Supervision is a
service of:

  • The learning and development of the supervisee
  • The organization(s) that employ the supervisee and the effectiveness and the efficiency of the organization’s work
  • The organization(s) that employ the supervisee and the effectiveness and the efficiency of the organization’s work

emdr

La Esperanza is the only EMDR clinic in Chandigarh. EMDR is a specialized, research backed therapy for trauma, grief, anxiety, or situations where traditional talk therapy hasn’t fully eased the distress. At La Esperanza, EMDR sessions are guided with care and precision.

Through a structured approach that uses gentle bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping), we help your mind safely revisit and reframe difficult experiences. This process doesn’t erase the past but it changes the way it lives in you, making room for relief, clarity, and new ways of being.
